Venice is stunning, but it’s also overrun with tourists. The canals are often clogged with boats, and popular spots like St. Mark’s Square are packed with people, leaving little room for enjoying the city’s beauty. Additionally, high prices and constant flooding make it a challenging destination.

Alternative: Visit Verona or Bologna for charming canals, beautiful architecture, and far fewer crowds. Both cities offer a rich Italian experience without the Venice chaos.
