Fashion is an ever-shifting landscape. What’s in one day can be out the next, and sometimes it’s the polar opposite of what was once deemed “in.”
While the allure of trend lists and anti-trend guides can be tempting, I’ve never advocated for following them blindly. Many such lists are often based on fleeting opinions and trends that are more about momentary hype than lasting impact. In fact, constantly chasing trends can leave you feeling disconnected from your true self.
What I always recommend is investing in personal style — a deeper, more meaningful approach to fashion. Personal style isn’t about replicating a look from a list or mimicking the latest trends. It’s about learning to feel your clothes, expressing your individuality, and evolving with your own preferences.
Personal style is dynamic, not static. It grows with you, reflects your experiences, and adapts over time. Cultivating it takes patience and reflection, but once you discover it, it becomes far more satisfying and enduring than any passing trend.
