Clam Chowder

Ingredients:

  • 4 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 potatoes, diced
  • 2 cups clams (canned or fresh), with juice
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Cook bacon in a pot until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. Sauté onion in bacon fat. Add potatoes, clam juice, milk, and cream.
  3. Simmer until potatoes are tender. Add clams and thyme. Serve with bacon on top.
