Ingredients:

  • 2 sheets of puff pastry (thawed)
  • 1 cup cooked shredded chicken or ground beef
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
  • Black olives (for ghost eyes)
  • Honey Dijon sauce (1 part honey, 2 parts Dijon mustard)

Recipe:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the cooked chicken (or beef), shredded cheddar, and cream cheese until combined.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry and use a ghost-shaped cookie cutter to cut out ghost forms.
  4. Place a small spoonful of the filling onto half of the ghost cutouts.
  5. Cover with another ghost cutout and press the edges to seal. Use a fork to crimp the edges if needed.
  6. Place two small pieces of black olive on each ghost for eyes.
  7. Brush the tops with egg wash.
  8. Bake until golden brown and puffed.
  9. Serve with honey Dijon dipping sauce on the side.
