Why We Can’t Resist Him

Lucifer Morningstar may be the Devil, but he’s more than just temptation and sin. He’s a complicated character who constantly challenges our ideas of good and evil. He’s charming, funny, vulnerable, and, at times, heartbreakingly human. The fact that we can’t resist him shows just how powerful his character is—and how brilliantly Tom Ellis brought the Devil to life. Lucifer is the Devil we love to watch because, in many ways, he’s a reflection of the complexities we all grapple with.
